BPSC Live Photo Capture Checklist
- Background: Sit in front of a flat, light-colored or white wall. Do not sit in front of windows, fans, doors, or furniture.
- Direct Lighting: Ensure light falls directly onto your face from the front. If you have backlight, your webcam photo will appear silhouetted and dark, causing portal rejection.
- Eye Level: Place your laptop or webcam at eye level. Look directly into the camera lens with neutral facial expression and both eyes open.
Separate Hindi and English Signature Rules
BPSC requires applicants to upload two distinct signature files:
- English Signature: Sign in running cursive hand. Do NOT write your name in separate capital letters.
- Hindi Signature: Sign in clear Devanagari script (running hand).
- Both files must strictly weigh between 10 KB and 20 KB. If your file is 8 KB, the server will error with "File size too small". If it is 22 KB, it will error with "File exceeds 20KB". Use SizeSnap to hit the exact 15 KB sweet spot.
100KB PDF Certificate Compression for BPSC
BPSC requires candidates to upload multiple certificates: CTET/STET certificate, B.Ed/D.El.Ed marksheet, Bihar Domicile certificate, and Category (EWS/OBC/SC/ST) certificate. Each file must be a PDF strictly under 100 KB. Use our SizeSnap PDF Compressor to reduce file weight while preserving certificate serial numbers, QR codes, and officer signatures.
